Smith Madson

Technical VP

 

Smith Madson was brought on to the Consulting Club Executive Board in the Spring of 2021 and will graduate in the Spring of 2022. Smith serves as the Technical VP where he coordinates the technical case for the club. Smith is a senior in MIS and Business Analytics. His hobbies include running, disc golf, hanging out with friends, and watching Formula 1 racing.

Carson Greiman

President

Carson Greiman is a senior in mechanical engineering, becoming interested in management consulting after an engineering consulting position. His hobbies include music, basketball, and hanging with friends.

Andrew Ritchie

VP of Stategy

Andrew Ritchie is the current VP of Strategy for the Consulting Club and will graduate in Spring 2024.  Andrew is a Sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Management from Johnston, Iowa. His hobbies include woodworking, computer programming, soccer refereeing, and competitive skeet shooting.

Anirudh Prasad

Treasurer

Anirudh Prasad is the current Treasurer for the Consulting club and will graduate in Spring 2022.  Anirudh is a senior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Finance from Naperville, IL. His hobbies include gaming, hanging out with friends, playing the guitar, and watching Formula 1 racing and premier league soccer.

Dr. Henrik Sternberg

Club Advisor

Dr. Sternberg is Assistant Professor in the department of Supply chain management. His research is about how technologies and public policies affect logistics and supply chain sustainability. He teaches Global supply chain management and Enterprise research planning. Dr. Sternberg has made numerous inventions, such as Stardriver and Cabotagestudien. In Cabotagestudien he has managed over 20 000 volunteers in the world's largest transport study. In addition to publishing research in top scientific journals, his research has appeared in media over 700 times.

Before becoming faculty, Dr. Sternberg worked as a consultant at Cambridge technology partners, working with clients such as Deutsche Post, Lufthansa/Star Alliance and Deutsche Bahn. He also ran his own consultancy, Sternberg consulting, helping clients such as Volvo Trucks, Meritor and AAK. Henrik is the advisor of the consulting club because he is passionate about helping cyclones reach their full career potential.

Jian Janes

Secretary

Jian Janes is a sophomore majoring in Industrial engineering. Besides being the secretary of the Consulting Club she is also the treasurer of the First Year Council, VP of Escape Room Club, and part of Kappa Alpha Theta. She joined the Consulting Club because she is hoping to get a job as a technical consultant. While she wants to go into industry her end goal is to get a PHD in Industrial Engineering and work in research. Her current hobbies include playing video games, reading, and doing escape. She has also completed all of the Des Moines escape rooms at Escape Chambers.
